Sexual Assault or Rape? Defining the Crime

Criminal forms of Domestic Violence

Why is it important to explain the relationship between sexual assault and rape?

Opponents of feminism attempt to minimize the wide-spread occurrence of the crime, by manipulating the definition and diminishing the potency of the behavior. Here’s one very clear example: Feminism Is a Fraud by Mike Oelke.

In order to clarify, I’d like to peel away the layers of social prejudice with which we classify men and women, just as if we were peeling back the skin of an onion to find its core.  For the moment, let’s simply consider men as “men” and onionwomen as “women” without distinctions such as feminists, misogynists, misandrists, etc., or the impacts of cult conditioning or religiosity. For the moment, we’re simply basic, basic:  101 men to 100 women in the world.

Obviously, we’re designed differently. And those differences stem from our distinct roles in the continuance of our species.

A woman’s body is meant to house a developing fetus, incubating and nurturing it to maturity. Everything that goes on regarding the creation of the child occurs within the internal operation of our body. We are also designed with brain chemistry…. neuropeptides, hormones, etc., which cause us to be attracted to a male contributor pregnanttoward the production of offspring.  We open ourselves to be impregnated based on the attraction that our brain chemistry makes us feel. And someone who defrauds us to create that attraction is violating, not seducing us.

Men have an important but external role in the creation of a child. They inject the sperm containing their DNA into the woman whose body serves as the host for the fetus. Impregnation does not require the man to feel any sort of connectivity to the woman. Only the code of conduct of the man, created by the impacts of his developmental years, and the chemistry within his brain, can cause him to remain united with the mother and child created by their union.

Modern day sex

Today, we’re bombarded by sexual innuendo. It’s in the media, on the radio, tv, the internet, in sports, in games, in advertising, it’s everywhere!  A vast portion of modern society has adapted a mentality that sex outside of marriage is perfectly acceptable, and a pleasurable pursuit. For some, it’s simply a means of entertainment and someone of the opposite sex is viewed as a sex object. Also, for some, it’s a means to manipulate others toward a separate, self-serving goal such as immigration, wealth, status, etc.

Even Donald Trump in his bid for the Presidency of the United States demonstrates his personal objectification of women by referring to the face of his female opposition, Carly Fiorina, as “that” face  rather than “her” face.

By their physical role in the continuance of the species, men view sex differently than women.

For both men and women, their reproductive apparatus will function whether they’re emotionally connected to one another or not.  A woman is admitting a man into her emotional core, where she lives, when she engages in sex. For men to induce sex by false pretense, they are  tampering with the attraction mechanism in our brain and sexually exploiting us. Likewise, women who induce sex by misuse, are also sexually violating men.

Society seems to have lost site of the fact that human beings actually live inside their bodies, and we continue to have the brain chemistry and physical attributes Mother Nature imbued us with for countless generations.

Gate

Trespassing past the gate

Let’s say a thief targets your home. You’ve created the protection of a gate with an alarm, and constructed a fence around your property. But the robber is clever and disarms your system, achieving entry without your permission.

Once inside, they help themselves to your personal property, depriving you of your jewelry, your electronics and the antique clock collection that was passed down to you by your family. You were fortunate. You were vacationing in Southern France during the home invasion and didn’t recognize the theft was taking place ’til you returned three weeks later. When you walked through your front door, you felt shocked, devastated and violated.

No one in their right mind would tell you, “You invited them in by having a weak gate.”  They wouldn’t say that because you didn’t notice the crime for three weeks, it really didn’t happen. Nor would they tell you, because you were not at home and didn’t get violently accosted during the incident, it wasn’t really a crime.

No one steals an object from you in rape…. Worse, they violate your very core, your sex organs.  And there is no escaping your ever-present sense of defilement. You can’t move away from your body and find another, safer body to live in.  You need to make peace with how you feel. Many victims try to do so by attempting to bury their pain. And that is one of the reasons people like Bill Cosby get away with rape.

Victims who are raped by fraud suffer the misuse of their sex organs in much the same way that violent rape victims do. Rape is rape. Most states have stricken the concept that rape can only occur through violent attack from their penal codes.

Because the word “rape” is so misunderstood, law makers use other terms to identify the crime. Rape is an act of sexual assault. It is sexual contact that is deficient of clearly knowing and freely given consent. Consent is part of the sexual process. It’s the front-end that involves the brain chemistry of attraction and defrauding someone of their consent usurps intercourse that would otherwise not take place. Consent that is achieved through the use of violence, threat, or deception is rape. Violence is an overt and obvious form of rape. Deception is a covert  and hidden form of rape.

Recent cases

Sexual Assault victim
Zach Anderson

Rape occurs when a child pretends to be of age, like what happened to  Zack Anderson who was found guilty of sexual misconduct against a minor even though his alleged “victim” deliberately deceived him about her age.

Dennis McIntyre victim of marriagefraud and immigrationfraudRape occurs when a foreigner seeks immigration status by falsely professing love and inducing marriage, as was the case for Dennis McIntyre and many of his growing list of #MarriageFraud supporters.

Jezebel article on Gayle Newland or Kye FortuneRape occurs when a woman claims to be a man and proceeds to have sex with an unsuspecting victim, like the Willaston, Cheshire arrest of Gayle Newland who allegedly used a strap-on prosthetic devise to penetrate an unsuspecting victim.

Assaulting a person sexually is rape, no matter what type of devise, plan, tool or method is used. Sex in which the victim has been deprived of consent through force, duress or deception is sexual assault, hence rape. In a moral world, victims will be granted justice and offenders will be incarcerated for their crime.
